Traders said increased buying by stockists on the back of rising demand from retailers as well as dal mills against tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly kept arhar and a few other pulses trade higher.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety advanced by Rs 100 and Rs 200 to Rs 4,100 and Rs 6,000-7,900 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold also went up by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,600-3,700 and Rs 3,650-3,800 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by Rs 200 each to Rs 3,700- 4,200 and Rs 3,800-4,300 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small Rs 3,600-3,700, bold Rs 3,650-3,800, Dal Masoor local Rs 3,700-4,200, best quality Rs 3,800-4,300, Malka local Rs 4,100-4,300, best Rs 4,200-4,500, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 4,100 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,000-7,900.
