Select pulses weaken on subdued demand

Prices of select pulses drifted up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today following fall in demand at prevailing levels against sufficient stocks.
Traders said easing demand from retailers at current levels against adequate stocks position on higher supplies in the market mainly led to decline in select pulses prices.
In the national capital, arhar eased by Rs 50 to Rs 9,200 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold also declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,150-6,150 and Rs 5,200-6,200 per quintal, respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,300-6,800 and Rs 6,400-6,900 per quintal, respectively.

Malka local and best quality too enquired lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,400-6,900 and Rs 6,500-6,900 per quintal, respectively.
