Call it “Gandhigiri” or a response to the Prime Minister’s cleanliness campaign, Shiv Sena workers on Sunday cleaned the Mahalaxmi racecourse ground where Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a poll rally Saturday night.
Sena corporator Arun Dudhwadkar was on his routine morning walk on Sunday when he noticed the garbage at the rally ground, party officials said.
Dudhwadkar immediately asked Sena workers to reach the ground and clean the area, they said.
