Senior Andhra Pradesh SSA officer hangs self in his office

A senior district official with 'Sarva Siksha Abhiyan' allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his office here in wee hours today, police said.
The body of T Eswariah (50), a deputy director rank officer in 'Sakshar Bharat Mission', was spotted by the staff at around 10:30 AM, said sub-inspector Ramprasad.
He said police found two suicide notes, purportedly written by Eswariah, from the spot.
According to the notes it appears that Eswariah, posted here since December 2013, was subjected to stress and humiliation at and away from his work place, police said.
District Collector Kona Sasidhar along with other officials visited the spot.

Town police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
