Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is a close friend of the 50-year-old actor, made him hear the music of his upcoming directorial venture starring Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
Shah Rukh took to Twitter to praise the music and posted a happy picture of Karan and Ranbir.
"Simple, happy & innocent. Had so much of it with Ranbir, Karan & Jitesh tonight. Ae Dil hai Mushkil Riff is 2 die for," he wrote.
The filmmaker was quick to send the riff to the "Fan" star and thanked him for appreciating the music of the movie.
'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' also stars Fawad Khan and Lisa Haydon. The music of the movie is given by composer Pritam.
The film will hit the theaters on October 28.
