Shandilya started the semifinal confidently against Alok and constructed breaks of 86, 63 and 70 en route to his victory. In the other semifinal, Rupesh reigned supreme at the green baize after losing the first frame to win 42-150 150-126 150-61 150-142.
In the Snooker event, Manish Jain shocked nine-time world champion and local favourite Geet Sethi 3-0 in his second league fixture in Pool 'B' at Polo Club.
Showing off his skills on the table since the initial frame, Manish hardly gave any chance to the maestro. First frame, however, Sethi had some chance where he scored 31 points, but clean sweep in the next two frames were enough to upset the champion.
In other matches of the day, Devendra Joshi defeated Manan Chandra 3-0 while Kamal Chawla beat Dhruv Sitwala with an identical scoreline.
