Shanthi Gears 2qtr net at Rs 8.36 cr
: Shanthi Gears Ltd, engaged in manufacturing of gear and gear products, on Tuesday said its Profits After Tax was Rs 8.36 crore for the quarter ending September 30, 2019.
The Coimbatore-based Murugappa Group company had reported net profits at Rs 9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
For the six month period ending September 30, 2019 net profits went upto Rs 17.81 crore from Rs 17.50 crore registered a year ago.
Total income for the July-September quarter surged to Rs 72.79 crore from Rs 62.87 crore registered year ago.
For the six month period ending September 30, 2019 total income went upto Rs 145.82 crore from Rs 127.18 crore registered a year ago.
Shares of Shanthi Gears ended at Rs 94.70 apiece, up by 0.74 per cent over the previous close in the BSE.
