ShareChat to add two more regional languages to its social

ShaeChat, the country's largest growing vernacular social network, is adding two more languages--Bhojpuri and Assamese-- to its network of 10 languages by this month end, a top official said today.
The network has already crossed 2.7 crore downloads across India and achieved a milestone of reaching two millon registered Tamil users, located primarily in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, ShareChat Chief Business Officer Sunil Kamath told reporters here.
The milestone within one year of the launch of Tamil was a significant success reinforcing that ShareChat is a scalable platform to reach users across all parts of the world, Kamath said.
Stating that the network was a first of its kind regional language/vernacular social networking platform, available in Hindi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Odia and Kannada, he said that Bhojpuri and Assamese will be added within this month.
