According to organisers, Sharma breached the CLT20 Code of Conduct at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium yesterday.
"Sharma admitted to the Level 1 offence (Section 1 - A1) of conduct contrary to the spirit of the game," the organisers said is a statement.
Viljoen, too, was reprimanded for breaching the code of conduct but was not fined.
"Viljoen admitted to the Level 1 offence (Section 1 - A1/A2) of conduct contrary to the spirit of the game," it said.
