Shazahn Padamsee to star in father's play

Actress Shazahn Padamsee's long-time dream to work with her father Alyque Padamsee will soon become a reality as she is set to begin work on his forthcoming theatre production.
The 27-year-old "Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year" actress said she is currently reading the script of the play and getting into the theatre mode.
"I am doing a play, a theatre production with my dad, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time now. And finally I have got a chance to do it. I am reading the script right now and going through all the necessary preparations," Shazahn told PTI.

Besides prepping for the play, the actress is also awaiting the release of two of her films, which she shot last year - "Siddhartha" and "Solid Patels".
"In 'Siddharth' I play Manali and Mahesh Bhatt is playing a role of my father figure in the film. My other film is also very interesting and I am playing a Gujarati girl in it."
Shazahn said she is also exploring the digital platform and will soon announce a new collaboration with a social media giant.
