The technical staff of State Health Transport Organisation (SHTO) today threatened to go an indefinite strike over the demand of release of their pending salaries.
"If our pending salary from June 2014 is not released by the government within four days, we will be forced to go on an indefinite strike with effect from October 15," President of SHTO Technical Workers Union Nagrota, S P Singh said in a statement here.
The government has released the budget for only a month's salary thus, we are facing acute problems of sustenance, he said.
We have already informed the higher authorities for immediate release of our pending salaries by October 10, he said.
