Siddique acquitted in model code violation case

A local court today acquitted senior RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddique in a case of violation of model code of conduct during 2009 general election for want of evidence.
District and Sessions Judge II Shashi Bhushan Singh passed the order acquitting Siddique of the charges of model code violation.
He was the party's in-charge for Madhubani Lok Sabha seat during 2009 general elections.
Siddique is now RJD Legislature Party leader in the Assembly.
