Sister of driver held in Jyoti murder case kills self

Sister of the driver lodged in jail in connection with the Jyoti Dasani murder case here allegedly committed suicide, police said today.
"Santoshi (16), sister of Awadesh, the driver of Jyoti's husband Piyush Shyam Dasani's girlfriend, last night committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan at her house here," said a police spokesperson.
"Santoshi hanged herself while she was alone at home," he said.
The police yesterday filed the charge sheet in a local court against the six accused in the case.
Police also named parents of Piyush and his two brothers in the charge sheet and have booked them under Section 202 (Intentional omission to give information of offence by person bound to inform) of IPC.

Those booked for the murder are Piyush, his girlfriend, her driver Awadesh and his three accomplices, according to police.

Jyoti's body, bearing multiple stab wounds, was found inside Piyush's car on July 28 in Panki area of the district.
Piyush, son of a biscuit baron, was later arrested after he allegedly confessed to have got Jyoti killed as he was having relations with another woman.
The driver, his accomplices and the woman with whom Piyush was having an affair were arrested.
