On June 11, a team had conducted survey of the sector and found that vehicles were parked on road outside these units blocking the free flow of traffic, officials said.
Further inspection by team found that after getting the completion certificate, these units had altered the constructed area, they alleged.
"Companies have been directed to rectify the modifications pointed out by the team and get the additional constructions regularised by paying necessary fees if these are within building bye laws. Otherwise they have been directed to demolish the unauthorised construction," said an authority officer.
"Further these units have been asked to see that their vehicles are parked inside the company premises," he said.
