Six held for betting on IPL match

Six persons were arrested here for allegedly betting on an IPL cricket match today, police said.
Slueths of Crime branch headed by DCP Dyandeo Atole raided a club in Osmanpura locality and nabbed six bookies in the wee hours, inspector Avinash Aghav said.
Police also seized Rs 3 lakh cash, over 150 mobile hand sets and three cars from the spot.
The six bookies were headed by one Naresh P, his brother Anil and Vinay Jain.
According to sources, they were also operating a separate phone line being used for gambling.
