Six labourers injured in clash inside IIT Kharagpur campus

At least six labourers were injured when a clash broke out between construction workers inside the IIT campus here in West Midnapur district today, police said.
The incident took place when two groups of labourers clashed after altercation on a local issue in the presence of construction company personnel, they said.
The agitated labourers gheraoed nearby Hijli police station for sometime after the incident.
The injured were sent to Kharagpur State General Hospital.
Police has been deployed at the under-construction building site, they said.
