The affected family members -- parents and their four children -- complained of headache, vomiting and stomach problems after they consumed cold drinks yesterday, police said.
They were identified as Shamshad (35), his wife Subhani (32), their two daughters - Razia (16) and Afsana (14) - and two sons - Shadab (12) and Suhail (l0).
They were shifted to district hospital, police said.
The family members said that the cold drink was purchased from a local shop in the village.
This is the second such incidents in the district within a week after seven persons, including four children, of a family in Ratheri village had fallen ill allegedly after consuming cold drinks on July 20.
