Six people held for eve-teasing in two separate incidents

Six people including four minors were caught on charges of eve-teasing by roving teams of female cops called "she teams", in two separate incidents, it was officially announced here today.
According to a release issued by the police, a student called K Praveen Kumar was arrested at Ameerpet for teasing a woman, misbehaving as well as stalking her for two months.
Allegedly, she regularly waited at a bus stop near S R Nagar, stalked her and repeatedly told her, "I love you and want to marry you" as well as followed her on the way to college on a bike, the release stated.

Based on a complaint, Kumar was arrested at Ameerpet, the release stated.
In the second case, five people, including four minors were caught after they hit a woman with a lemon while she was with her husband near Lumbini Park here during Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 7, the release stated.
"After the woman's husband questioned the act, they abused him and followed them for some distance," the release stated.
Chinna Kondal Rao, a driver was booked and arrested for the offence while the four minors were counselled not to repeat such incidents in the future, the release stated.
