The PetPace smart collar monitors the temperature, heart rate and breathing activities of your pet.
If the device senses a problem, it will then send an alert to the owner's phone by email or text message.
The collar has in-built sensors to monitor how many calories have been burned in a day and can detect if an animal is in pain by assessing physical and behavioural signs.
The device manufacturers said worried owners will be able to tell when their pooches are sick, hungry, or just a bit down in the dumps, 'mirror.Co.Uk' reported.
"Most importantly, our smart collar will allow veterinarians to provide better medicine and better service to their patients while sealing the bond with pet owners," Dagan said.
The collar is priced at 90 pounds and will go on sale in Britain next year.
