After winning the first Indian edition of reality show "So You Think You Can Dance", Alisha Behura says it is her dream to act opposite Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan.
Alisha, who hails from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, emerged last night as "Dance Star" of the desi version of the globally popular dance show.
"I am a big fan of Varun Dhawan and it is my dream to act with him in the future. I would also love to choreograph him for a dance but I want to especially act opposite him in a movie," the 17-year-old singer told PTI.
Alisha, also called the 'Krump Queen', said she is ecstatic over her win on the show and feels there was never a time when she thought she would lose.
"I am extremely happy right now as it is a huge platform. The competition was tough, there was pressure and I was nervous before my performances but I never thought I would lose. I got support from everyone," she said.
According to Alisha, who practises international dance forms like Krumping, Hip-Hop and B-Girling, the three judges- Madhuri Dixit Nene, Bosco Martis and Terence Lewis were very encouraging throughout her journey.
"I had a very good connection with the judges. They used to give us advice and tips on how to perform and improve ourselves. They used to tell us our positives and negatives all of which helped us a lot."
The young dancer now aims to enter the film industry as an actress and a choreographer and sharpen her skills.
