Somany Ceramics Q4 net surges 76% to Rs 26 cr

Full year profit up 38% to Rs 61 cr

Somany Ceramics today reported a 76.31 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 26.06 crore for the fourth quarter ended March.

The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 14.78 crore in the January-March period of 2014-15 fiscal.

Its net sales grew 12.72 per cent to Rs 513.52 crore during the same quarter of 2015-16 fiscal as against Rs 455.56 crore in the year-ago period, Somany Ceramics said in BSE filing.

For the entire 2015-16 fiscal, the company's net profit rose to Rs 61.06 crore as against Rs 44.38 crore in the 2014-15 fiscal.

Its net sales stood at Rs 1,790.07 crore compared with Rs 1,598.3 crore in the preceding year.
