Haryana Congress Legislature Party leader Kiran Choudhary today said Gandhi would undertake a survey of some of the affected areas including those in Rohtak, Jhajjar and Rewari districts.
"The Congress President is concerned over the loss suffered by farmers due to recent spell of heavy rains and hailstorm which lashed several parts of the state," Choudhary told reporters here.
On March 16, moderate to heavy rains lashed several parts of Haryana, componding worries of farmers of the leading agrarian state whose crops had already suffered in another spell of heavy showers this month.
A team from the Centre would be visiting the State to survey and assess the damage, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had said.
