Spl arrangements in Punjab jails on Rakhi festival
They have been asked to allow sisters of inmates to tie rakhis from 9 am to 5 pm on August 2, state's Jail Minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur today said.
He said the inmates would be allowed to meet their sisters on Raksha Bandhan throughout the day and visitors would also be permitted to meet them.
Strict security norms would, however, be observed, he added.
