The trading came to a halt between 9.57 am and 10.15 amas the generators failed to activate at the World Trade Centre building here where the CSE is located.
The generators were back in operation later when the trading resumed.
The country is experiencing 7.5 hour power cuts today andtomorrowdue to the failure in the major coal fired power plant.
On Sunday, the whole country was in darkness for over 6 hours, the worst since 1996.
