Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal was static at World Number 2, but Indian male shuttlers K Srikanth, H S Prannoy and Ajay Jayaram lost a place each in the latest badminton ranking.
In the ranking released today, Saina held on to her world No. 2 spot and even P V Sindhu, who is currently defending her title at Macau Open, also maintained her number 12 position.
However, a series of few early exits have taken a toll on Srikanth, Prannoy and Jayaram as they slipped to the 8th, 20th and 25th position even as injured Parupalli kashyap saw a one place rise in his ranking to reach the 14th place.
Men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy improved a place to break into the top 20 once again, while Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa also held on to their number 12 position in women's doubles ranking.
