SSI killed in accident in Thanjavur district

A special Sub-Inspector (SSI) of police attached to Thiruvayaru police station died after the bike he was riding was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle in the district, police said today.
Vanaraj was riding along Thiruvayaru main street last night, when he was knocked down by a speeding vehicle.
He died on the spot, they said.
A case has been registered, they added.
