Kerala Startup Mission has invited more engineering colleges to start Innovation Entrepreneurship and Development Centres (IEDC) to develop innovative business ideas with market-viable products, according to an official release.
Each IEDC centre will get Rs 2 lakh to conduct startup boot camps, it added.
Launched with an aim to boost student entrepreneurship in Kerala, startup boot camps primarily conduct workshops, seminars and leadership camps.
Students selected from these camps will get pre-incubation training from KSUM.
Colleges applying for new IEDC centres should take care of the facilities, including the assignment of faculties-in-charge.
