The first photo of the sports-themed vigilante was released by the film's producer via Twitter with the caption, "Stephen Amell as Casey Jones #TMNT2," reported Aceshowbiz.
Similar to the character's portrayal in comic books in which he uses sports goods as weapons, Amell's Jones wears a sporty black jacket and Jones' trademark goalie mask.
Jones is set to romance April O'Neil, played by Megan Fox, in the film.
Also starring in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" sequel are Will Arnett, who returns as Vernon Fenwick, and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks.
It is set for a release on June 3, 2016 in the US.
