Sanjay Jadhav (42), his wife Jayshri (38) and son Sunil (19) were allegedly cut into pieces by some unidentified persons on the night of October 20 and the next day their bodies, one of them decapitated, were found dumped in a well about 100 metres from their house in Javkheda village under Pathardi taluka of Ahmednagar.
Sanjay apparently owned an acre of land. His son Sunil worked at a milk dairy in Mumbai and had come home a week before the incident.
"Several people have been questioned in connection with the case, but no clinching evidence has been found so far," said Salunkhe, who has been camping in Ahmednagar since the special squad was constituted.
"I have again formed ten special teams with best officials, who are working round-the-clock on the specific tasks assigned to them," he said.
Amid reports that Naxals were trying to spark tension in the state in the backdrop of Dalit killings, Dayal said, "Well, many organisations would be interested in doing that."
However, he refused to elaborate on it.
