"There should be no doubt about it. It is a clear case of sabotage. We want to further interrogate the man arrested in this connection," Superintendent of Police, GRP, Sanjay Kausal told PTI.
Stating that one Ramachandran Subas from Tamil Nadu was arrested immediately after the fire engulfed five coaches of three express trains at Puri Station, Kausal said GRP would like to find out whether he was alone or a part of a group which set fire on trains at separate platforms.
Subas, whose remand with the GRP, ended today, may be taken on further remand by GRP, Kausal said adding that a knife, a blade and a match box were seized from him.
Though there was no casualty or injury in the incident, two coaches - each of Nandankanan Express, Tirupati Express and one coach of Puri-Howrah Express - were badly damaged in the fire incident on November 12 afternoon.
