Lanka said it is doing what is required to see a triumphant end to the UN Human Rights Council resolution.
"We are doing what is needed to be done to ensure victory for the country. We do not want to make those action public", senior minister Nimal Siripala de Silva told reporters.
"We have successfully countered false propaganda of our adversaries both international and local," de Silva said.
De Silva himself visited Pakistan to win the south Asian country's support. He also visited New Delhi last month to brief the Sri Lanka-accredited missions residents there.
Sri Lanka's defence has been that the international community ought to provide the island more time and space to achieve reconciliation and set in motion accountability mechanisms for alleged human rights abuses during the final stages of a nearly three-decade-long war against the LTTE.
Addressing a group of visiting Sri Lankan journalists in New Delhi today, Khurshid said India was ready to work with Sri Lanka on resolution if the island nation was willing.
His counterpart G L Peiris had said he will brief India again before the March resolution to be moved by the US, Khurshid said.
India backed US in both previous resolutions, much to the disappointment of Sri Lanka.
