Sugar rebounds on mild demand

Prices of both varieties of sugar recovered at the Vashi wholesale market here today on mild demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
Medium sugar (M-30) climbed by Rs 4/20 per quintal to Rs 2,800/2,962 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 2,796/2,942.
Small sugar (S-30) moved up by Rs 2/3 per quintal to Rs 2,682/2,815 as against Rs 2,680/2,812 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,682/2,815 (Rs 2,680/2,812).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,800/2,962 (Rs 2,796/2,942.
