Revenue officials have attached sugar worth Rs 70 crore from sugar mill after its owner failed to pay dues of cane growers.
"Due to non clearance of dues of the farmers, district authorities issued recovery certificate against Titawi sugar mill but they failed to pay the amount," Ramkishan Sharma, Additional District Magistrate told reporters here.
A team of revenue officials attached the sugar in eight godowns and sealed it, he said.
The action has been taken when the mill owner had failed to clear dues of Rs 66 crore, Sharma said.
