The Chennai-based company, had recorded net profits at Rs 75.55 crore during corresponding period of last year.
Net profits for the year ending March 31, 2017 stood at Rs 315.48 crore.
The standalone total income for the April-June quarter rose to Rs 850.56 crore, from Rs 772.61 crore registered during the year ago period.
For the full year ending March 31, 2017 total income stood at Rs 3,173.11 crore.
The earnings before interest, depreciation and taxes for the June quarter increased to Rs 156.32 crore as against Rs 139.96 crore registered during the corresponding period of last year.
