Sunny will play an important role in helping the 'CID' team with their investigations. He will be seen in a weekend special episode of the show.
Sunny, who was not in favour of marketing and promoting the film on various platforms, had earlier said, "Today everything is about promotions... It has become necessary. Today people shout from rooftops to come and watch their film. I did that kind of promotions earlier but I got tired. I don't like to do it but it seems we have to do it."
Directed by Anil Sharma, 'Singh Sahab The Great' releases on November 22.
