Supreme Industries Q3 net up 75 pc at Rs 102.23 crore

Net sales up 8.4% at Rs 1,074 crore, total expenses up 8.8% Rs 954 crore

Plastic products manufacturer Supreme Industries today reported a 75.30 per cent jump in consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended March 31 at Rs 102.23 crore.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 58.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Supreme Industries, which follows July to June as its financial year, reported net sales of Rs 1,074.04 crore, an increase of 8.41 per cent compared with Rs 990.69 crore in the year ago.

During the quarter, total expenses stood at Rs 953.63 crore, up 8.78 per cent against Rs 876.63 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Shares of Supreme Industries were trading at Rs 660 apiece in the afternoon trade, down 0.02 per cent on the BSE.
