Two-time Olympic medal winner wrestler Sushil Kumar has received the eight acres of land that was promised to him by the Haryana government for setting up his academy at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat.
"It's an honour that Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda gave me eight acres land to start the world class wrestling academy and I would like to thank him for this kind gesture,' Sushil said in a statement.
Sushil won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics before improving to a silver in the London edition last year.
