Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will lay the foundation stone of the Symbiosis's first project in the state, at Bada Bangdada area on June 6, said a spokesperson of the Symbiosis Foundation.
He said that this will be first university in the field of Applied Sciences.
The university will offer degree, diploma and certificate courses in the fields of production, development, IT, retail and other service sectors.
Meanwhile, an official informed that the state government has allotted 25 acre land each on concessional rates to the educational group Narsee Monjee and Symbiosis Institute of Higher Learning.
