Kajol's younger sister Tanisha Mukherjee, who did not have a successful run in Bollywood, will be soon making her debut in Marathi cinema with Akshay Kumar's home production 'Adhantari'. Tanisha debuted in Hindi cinema in 2003 with 'Ssshhh' and was later seen in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Sarkar', 'Sarkar Raaj' and 'Neil N Nikki' among others but could not make it big in Hindi films following which she is exploring a new territory. The 35-year-old actress has been signed by Grazing Goat Pictures owned by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi. "We are doing a Marathi film titled 'Adhantari' with Tanisha," Akshay said. Reportedly, the film will be shot in Pune and London and Sumit Raghavan will play Tanisha's love interest. The movie is directed by Gauri Karekar Sarwate. Akshay's production house aims to expand its reach in regional cinema. "As a producer I am making Marathi and Punjabi films. I think it is important as a producer to back regional films. There is a huge scope for such kind of cinema. But there are very few who are attempting to produce regional films. "I have already finished a Marathi film titled '72 Miles', then we have 'Adhantari' and a Punjabi film called 'Paaji in Trouble'," the actor-producer said. Ask him if he would be acting or doing a cameo in regional films, Akshay says, "As of now, no... I am not doing it but if I get a good role I will love to do it."
