A treasure trove of the singer's personal items, including instruments, handwritten song lyrics, and stage costumes is to go on display at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, reported Showbiz spy.

The 'Love Story' hitmaker has also handed over the cowboy boots and acoustic guitar featured in her the music video for her first hit Tim McGraw.

The museum's president and director, Dr Bill DeWalt said, "We hope this exhibit inspires our guests of all ages to play an instrument and make their own music."

The attraction will be divided into two parts, with one section being devoted to Swift's humble beginnings and the other documenting her career after shooting to fame.
