Republic Records, which is promoting the song to radio, made the confirmation on January 12 via their Playbook website.
On the site, they said that the track would start impacting radio on February 10. However, several Top 40 radios have already added it to their playlists ever since Big Machine Records' boss Scott Borchetta revealed on Twitter that he personally would pick the track to be Swift's next single.
1989, marking Swift's first pop effort, was released back in October with nearly 1.3 million copies sold.
