The TRS has made elaborate arrangements for its plenary session, which is the first after formation of Telangana state.
The event is expected to be attended by more than 50,000 delegates from across the state, according to TRS leader and Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy.
Rao would address TRS leaders and activists on the course of action for the future, TRS Secretary General K Keshav Rao said.
Few other TDP MLAs had joined the TRS earlier and the TDP had sought their disqualification.
The TRS has turned the city pink which is the colour of its party flag, by installing a large number of cut-outs, hoardings and other publicity materials.
The TRS has also made massive arrangements to host delegates and for successful conduct of the event.
