A 28-year-old teacher who claimed she was gang raped by four persons on premises of a government school here, today said she had counterfeited the story to save her rape accused paramour.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Pankaj Choudhary said investigations revealed that the woman was in a relationship with one Mahaveer Meena, who had been accused by the wife of one of the falsely accused persons Dayaram Meena in another rape case.
On April 25, the woman had accused four persons -- Dayaram, Chotu Singh, Babulal and Hari Singh -- of gang raping her inside the classroom of a primary government school in Rhain village of Bundi district.
The woman had a month back disguised as a woman police constable and visited all the four false accused at their homes and threatened them of framing false rape case against them if the rape case against her paramour Mahaveer was not withdrawn, Choudhary said.
The woman's paramour, Mahaveer was accused by Dayaram's wife Meetabai of involvement in a rape case lodged at Hindoli in February, and he had been absconding since then. The woman was trying her best to pull him out of the rape case, Choudhary said.
The anticipatory bail application of Mahaveer was rejected by Rajasthan High Court on April 22 following which the woman decided to make counterfeited gang rape story to frame the four persons, he said.
The woman teacher reached the school on Friday morning when students were on exam preparation leave. She was alone in the school premises and concocted gang rape story to frame the four persons.
The facts and the evidences collected from the incident spot did not correlate to the allegations of the teacher and the medical report also did not confirm rape, the SP said.
The police would now move the court to file petition under section 182 of CrPC against the woman teacher and would also write to District Collector and District Education Officer (DEO) to take against her.
