The incident took place on July 8 when the victim, Devendera, was returning home after teaching some students during the morning hours. He was then kidnapped by some unidentified miscreants, they said.
The kidnappers asked for a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from the father of the victim by sending a message on his mobile phone. They had asked that the Ransom money be delivered at Toonda junction platform, police added.
Earlier, the police had only registered a case of missing but after victim's father showed the message by the culprits, an FIR was today lodged in the case, police Inspector, Kotwali Jalesar, Mahi Pal Singh Tomar said.
