Teenage girl dead, 21 injured as vehicle gets electrocuted

A teenage girl died of electrocution and 21 others received burn injuries when the tractor trolley they were travelling in while going for Durga idol immersion came in touch with a live wire in Didarganj police station area here today, police said.
Locals from Bhado village were carrying the idol on a tractor trolley for immersion when it ran over a live wire that had fallen on the road, they said.
Chandni (13) was killed on the spot.
As many as 21 others were injured, five of them seriously, and have been admitted to Jaunpur district hospital, police added.
