Teenager murdered in UP, police suspect gangrape

The body of a 16-year-old girl was found near a field at Boja village in the district with police suspecting that she was gangraped before being murdered.
The girl had gone to relieve herself in the fields yesterday but she did not return till late, following which her family members started looking for her. Later her body was found about 200 metres from the fields, police said today.
The victim's clothes were found torn and prima facie it looks that she was gangraped and strangulated to death, police said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and further investigations are underway, they further said.
