Teenager, who was injured in Maur blast, dies

A 14-year-old boy, who had suffered serious injuries in Maur Mandi blast in Bathinda on January 31, died at a hospital in Ludhiana, officials said.
Ankush Kumar breathed his last late yesterday night at DMC hospital where he was undergoing treatment, a Punjab government spokesperson said.
With the death of Ankush, the death toll in the blast has reached seven.
Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh condoled the death of Ankush and expressed his sympathies with the family of the teenager, the official said.
The Chief Minister has lamented the loss of another young life as a result of the "senseless act of terrorist violence", he added.
Six persons were killed and several others injured in a car explosion at Maur Mandi in Bathinda on January 31.
The explosion had occurred near the venue of a poll campaign of Congress candidate Harminder Singh Jassi.
