"I have read and heard about the incident. But I really don't know the truth. I can say one thing that it will be really unfortunate if this single incident tars the image of other journalists working in this profession," Tully told PTI on the sidelines of a programme here.
Tarun Tejpal's alleged sexual misdemeanour has given rise to questions being asked over the work atmosphere in media houses where women are employed.
"I have been a journalist in India for several years. I really can't remember a similar allegation being made against a journalist," said Tully.
