"Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister commented in Rajahmundry the day before yesterday that those in Hyderabad do not know about waking up early in the morning and N T Rama Rao taught them to rise early. Not just physical labour but you should also work with the mind, he said, as if suggesting that you do not have sense," Rao said.
"What do we make of this? I can take it if something is said about KCR, but the question of taking it does not arise if Telangana society is belittled. We can go to any extent if Telangana society and culture is belittled by anyone in the world. I would like to warn about this," Rao said.
Rao also said Andhra Pradesh's capital city Amaravati, which is coming up in the Vijayawada region, need not be compared with Hyderabad.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been engaged in war of words over sharing of water, power, assets and liabilities, among others.
