Temperatures decreased by several notches in Himachal Pradesh after rains on the second consecutive day Wednesday, the Meteorological (MeT) Department said.
Several parts of the state, including Dalhousie 42 mm, Kangra 42 mm, Jawali 26 mm, Manali 17 mm, Kufri 16 mm and Shimla 13 mm, witnessed light to moderate rains, it said.
As a result, the minimum temperatures decreased by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, whereas the maximum temperatures decreased by 5 to 6 degrees Celsius.
The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Una at 25.4 degrees Celsius, it said, adding that the lowest temperature was recorded in tribal district Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong at 1.8 degrees Celsius.
